1. Scope & Applicability

This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made through https://nordrue.com and governs the delivery of goods to the following geographic areas:

  • European Union (EU) Member States
  • United Kingdom
  • European Economic Area (EEA) countries
  • Selected international destinations, including but not limited to: the United States, Canada, Australia, and select countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Restrictions:
We do not ship to embargoed countries, sanctioned regions, PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or destinations restricted under applicable customs, export control, or trade regulations.


2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We offer the following shipping methods, depending on your location and the weight/volume of your order:

Partnered Carriers include DHL, UPS, FedEx, GLS, Correos, and national postal services. Specific carriers may vary by region or delivery type.

Certain product categories (e.g., hazardous goods, heavy equipment) may have limited shipping eligibility or require specialized carriers.


3. Delivery Timelines

The estimated delivery windows are as follows (excluding weekends and public holidays):

Please note that delivery times may vary due to customs inspections, force majeure events, or local carrier delays.


4. Shipping Costs & Transparency

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and shipping method. We offer:

  • Free shipping on orders above €70 within the EU/UK
  • Flat rate shipping for select zones
  • Real-time rates for international express shipments

All shipping charges, including applicable VAT and customs, will be transparently displayed before order confirmation, in compliance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer information.


5. Order Processing & Tracking

Once your order is placed:

  • You will receive an order confirmation email with a summary of your purchase.
  • Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days.
  • Upon dispatch, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS (subject to your consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

You may track your parcel using our tracking interface or directly through the carrier’s website.

We ensure GDPR-compliant handling of your personal data for shipment-related notifications and use only processors under Article 28 GDPR-compliant agreements.


6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

We ship under the following INCOTERMS depending on destination:

  • EU/UK: Goods are sold under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid); no additional fees are payable by customers upon delivery.
  • International Destinations: Orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), unless otherwise stated.

This means:

  • Import duties, VAT, and customs fees (if any) are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Delays caused by customs are beyond our control.

For EU customers, VAT is included in the price in accordance with the EU VAT E-Commerce Package rules (2021/954 & 2021/959).


7. Returns, Damages & Lost Shipments

We comply fully with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU).

Returns:

  • You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the item is defective or incorrectly supplied.

Lost or Damaged Parcels:

  • If your parcel is lost or significantly delayed, we will investigate and offer a replacement or full refund in accordance with local consumer laws.
  • If goods arrive damaged, notify us within 48 hours of receipt with photos of the damage. We will issue a return label and arrange for replacement/refund.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned item, using the original payment method.


8. Force Majeure & Dispute Resolution

Nordrue shall not be held liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • War or terrorism
  • Labor strikes or customs stoppages
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • Carrier or supplier disruptions

Governing Law:

  • For EU consumers, this policy is governed by the laws of the consumer's place of residence.
  • For international buyers, the policy is governed by UK law unless otherwise required by mandatory local legislation.

Dispute Resolution:

  • We encourage amicable resolution. You may contact our support team at any time.
